Vivant Transcore Holdings Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Vivant Infracore Holdings, Inc., operating under the brand name Vivant Water, has finalized its acquisition of Bantayan Resource Management and Development Corporation (BREMANDCOR), a water distribution company mainly servicing the Municipality of Bantayan.

With the acquisition of 100% equity interest in BREMANDCOR, Vivant Water now assumes full ownership and operational control. The company is poised to deliver reliable water services to more than 4,000 households across the municipality of Bantayan.

The Cebu-based utilities conglomerate brings its operational discipline and expertise into the distribution segment, complementing its existing investments across the water value chain. Vivant Water is set to operate a 20-MLD bulk water infrastructure through Isla Mactan Cordova Corporation (IMCC), the country’s first utility-scale seawater desalination plant, and wastewater management facilities in Palawan through Puerto Princesa Water Reclamation and Learning Center (PPWRLC). Expanding into Bantayan’s distribution network enables Vivant to provide more integrated and reliable water services – an essential foundation for an island gaining recognition as an emerging tourism destination.

Bantayan Resource Management and Development Corporation (BREMANDCOR) members of the Board with Chairman Alex Monteclar (4th from the left) officially signed the definitive agreement for the acquisition of water distribution operations of Bantayan with Vivant Water Assistant Vice President for Business Development and Regulatory and Industry Affairs Atty. Joanne Babon (5th from the left).

“This development completes our vision of bringing reliable water solutions where they are needed most,” said Jess Garcia, President of Vivant Water. “We act with intention, closing the gap in opportunities to access basic necessities especially in areas that are often perceived geographically challenged. More than expanding our footprint, we lookout for the communities’ needs first.”

Vivant’s expansion into water distribution in Bantayan reflects a deliberate and integrated approach to infrastructure development. Since 2022, the company has been the sole provider of stable power on the island through Isla Norte Power Corporation (INPC). With the addition of water distribution, Vivant now completes the utility circle in Bantayan – integrating reliable energy and clean water to support households, businesses, and the island’s continued growth. In doing so, Vivant helps ensure that as communities advance, the lights stay on and water continues to flow.
