Among PAGEONE’s 39 trophies at the 22nd Philippine Quill Awards, two recognitions may say the most about where the agency believes communications is heading.

PAGEONE received the Top Award in Division 1: Communication Management and the Top Award in Division 2: Communication Research, alongside its fifth consecutive Agency of the Year title.
Together, the awards reflect an approach that places strategy and evidence at the center of communication.

For PAGEONE Chairman and CEO Dr. Ron F. Jabal, APR, the industry must increasingly look beyond traditional measures such as media exposure, publicity and visibility.
“We have always believed that communication should be accountable for more than visibility,” Jabal said. “The real question is whether our work changes understanding, strengthens stakeholder relationships, builds trust and ultimately contributes to the reputation of the organizations we serve.”
The recognition for Communication Research is particularly significant as organizations increasingly rely on stakeholder insights, data and measurement to understand whether communication is producing meaningful outcomes.
PAGEONE President and COO Vonj Tingson said strategy must also be supported by an organization capable of executing it consistently.
“Strategy only becomes meaningful when an organization can execute it consistently,” Tingson said. “Awards recognize the work, but the real achievement is building an organization capable of producing that standard of work repeatedly.”
For PAGEONE, the two Top Awards reinforce a larger proposition: communication should not simply generate attention. It should help build the trust, credibility and reputation organizations need to operate.
