The Regional Development Council in Northern Mindanao (RDC-10) has elected new officers and refined its medium-term plans, aligning them with the national “Ambisyon Natin 2040” vision.

During a consultation on Tuesday, the RDC-10 updated its Northern Mindanao Regional Development Plan for 2023–2028 to ensure the region’s strategies remain closely aligned with Ambisyon Natin 2040 and the Philippine Development Plan 2023–2028.

Assistant Secretary Agnes Espinas-Tolentino of the Department of Economic Planning and Development (DEPDev) Regional Development Group urged RDC-10 officers to continue collaborating, adopting adaptive strategies, and maintaining a shared commitment to promote the region’s long-term vision.

Ambisyon Natin 2040 envisions a prosperous, middle-class Philippines by 2040, with no poverty, reflecting Filipinos’ hopes for a secure and stable life.

Meanwhile, DEPDev-10 Director Mylah Faye Aurora Cariño said the election of the new committee officers will pave the way for a more coordinated and inclusive approach to regional development.

The new officers will meet and reorganize their respective committees before the RDC-10 Full Council’s first regular meeting, scheduled for September 30. (PNA)
