The Department of Social Welfare and Development-Davao Region (DSWD-11) spent PHP107.8 million in KALAHI-CIDSS program funds in 2025 for community-driven projects, according to data released Monday.
The funds implemented infrastructure, livelihood support and capacity-building initiatives in 36 barangays, benefiting 5,332 households through completed subprojects.
Projects included child development centers, health centers, roads, drainage canals and multipurpose buildings, with average physical accomplishment at 75.49 percent.
An additional 93 households received community-driven interventions targeting displaced and street families.
DSWD-11 also reported exceeding targets for its cash-for-work program, assisting 1,123 families.
The program extended to college students and graduates, with PHP18.03 million in aid provided to 1,280 students from three state colleges in the region. (PNA)
