Baao Children Youth Choir Wins Grand Championship In Spain Choral Fest

The Baao Children Youth Choir has once again made the Philippines proud by clinching the title of Grand Champion at the prestigious 29th Certamen Internacional Juvenil de Habaneras y Polifonia 2024, held in Torrevieja, Spain.

This victory marks their second grand win at this esteemed international competition, the first being in 2012. Under the expert guidance of conductor Emmanuel Badong Ramos II, the youngest conductor in Philippine history at just 20 years old, the choir showcased exceptional talent, dedication, and musical prowess.

Known for their harmonious performances and cultural richness, the Bicolano choir impressed both judges and audiences with flawless renditions of traditional Habaneras and intricate polyphonic pieces.

This is another proud moment for the Philippines, highlighting the rich musical talent of the region on an international stage.
