3.1M BSKE Voter Applications Processed Ahead Of May 2026 Deadline

Five months after the voter registration period resumed for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) later this year, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) has processed over 3.1 million applications.

The poll body’s latest data revealed that a total of 3,137,948 applications have been processed as of March 14.

Females have submitted the most number of applications with 1,633,469 while males have only 1,504,479.

The Comelec reported that it has received 135,755 reactivation application from regular voters, while 816,138 applied as new voters (18 years old and above).

For SK polls, a total of 899,860 Filipinos, aged 15 to 17 years are applying as youth voters.

On the other hand, the region with the highest number of applications received is Region 4-A (Calabarzon) with 537,847, followed by Region 3 (Central Luzon) with 360,564 and National Capital Region (NCR) with 322,054.

There are four regions with under 100,000 applications received namely: Region 4-B (Mimaropa) with 98,189; Caraga, 97,196; Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao with 71,476 and Cordillera Administrative Region with 42,714.

The voter registration period resumed on Oct. 20, 2025 and will run until May 18, 2026.
