In a media landscape often saturated with fleeting trends and performative content, Joyce Pring-Triviño stands out as a voice of authenticity, compassion, and purpose. From her beginnings as a TV presenter to her rise as one of Asia’s Top Lifestyle Influencers, Joyce has consistently used her platforms not just for entertainment, but to empower others to grow in faith, resilience, and understanding.
Her podcast, Adulting with Joyce Pring, has become one of her most impactful projects, a safe space for young people navigating the messy and meaningful seasons of their twenties. Joyce explains that the show began as a deeply personal outlet: she was navigating a quarter-life crisis, juggling the pressures of a rising television career, and searching for guidance she couldn’t find elsewhere.

“If you listen to the first three episodes of Adulting with Joyce Pring, it was truly just a passion project that I started because I missed radio and podcasting at that time. I was at the height of my TV career, and I just missed being able to express myself and my thoughts without having to worry about how I looked on TV. I also felt like I was having a quarter-life crisis… So Adulting with Joyce Pring started out as a personal diary of the things that I was learning and struggling with as a 20-something-year-old.”
Over time, that diary evolved into a platform that resonates with thousands of listeners. Joyce’s hope is that her audience walks away not only with advice but also with the assurance that they are not alone in their journey.
“If there’s anything I want people to take away from it, it’s that I want young people to know that they’re not alone, that there are other people who are struggling and learning how to thrive with them. That adulting can be figured out, we can maximize our time, talent, and treasures to help other people, to have an abundant life, to have a relationship with God, to figure out how to have healthy relationships and fulfilling careers without burning out.”
As her podcast grew, so did her influence online. Named one of Asia’s Top Lifestyle Influencers, Joyce has been intentional about keeping her voice authentic. She believes that credibility begins in private life and flows naturally into the public eye.
“I have this concept of the one-man person. What does that mean? I am the same person in private that I am in public. I don’t just talk about all this inspirational stuff or my faith or having healthy relationships without practicing them in my own life. The two most important things about me are my faith in God and my personal relationships with my family and best friends. Those are the things that ground you and shape who you are.”
Remaining true to herself allows Joyce to balance relatability with the responsibility of being a role model. She admits it’s not about aiming for perfection, but about choosing honesty and integrity in every season.
“I think it’s being honest about your struggles and challenges while at the same time being open about the learnings and the wins that you have. I’m not even thinking about ‘being a role model.’ I’m just thinking about living right, doing what is right even when people are not looking. And that’s only by God’s grace that I’m really trying. Whatever people see in public is just a reflection of who I am in private.”
Her Christian faith remains the compass for both her personal journey and her public platforms. For Joyce, faith shapes not only the kind of content she produces but also the way she approaches her audience.
“My faith is the number one guide for the kind of content that I produce. It’s the most important thing about who I am. But at the same time, I don’t want to push away anybody who doesn’t share the same faith that I do. I want people to see my content and know that yes, Joyce is Christian, she loves the Lord, but she’s also compassionate toward people who may have different views. At the end of the day, that’s really what you want to do—stand up for something while also offering compassion.”
Joyce also believes that media platforms like hers can play a pivotal role in shaping culture. To her, content creators and storytellers are cultural movers who can inspire understanding and peace.
“Media platforms play a huge role in fostering peace and understanding in society. If you want to see the state of culture and society, look at the kind of music that’s being put out, the conversations on social media, the way people are reacting, what we’re laughing at and what we’re crying at. Those things really show what’s important to culture and society. Podcasters and content creators are part of a huge percentage of people who are movers and shakers in culture and society.”
Through her voice, Joyce Pring-Triviño continues to prove that influence, when anchored in authenticity, faith, and compassion, can be more than just reach—it can be a catalyst for positive change.
